Frequently Asked Questions.How much do you charge? We price our jobs on an individual basis depending on a number of factors, including skill level, length of time required to complete the job, and location. We offer discounts on our already competitive rates to those on a pension and our repeat customers. Do you provide written quotes? Yes. We are usually able to give a customer an idea of cost over the phone, but an on site visit is usually required for an accurate quotation. On the odd occasion we may discover that upon further inspection, a job may require more work than was initially quoted for. In these circumstances, we will let you know of additional works and costs and ensure that you are happy before commencing. What do your quotes include? We normally quote on a labour only basis, but can provide all inclusive quotes where necessary. We normally prefer customers either provide their own materials or pay for materials in advance (once bitten, twice shy!). This means that you get the materials you want with no mark-ups. We are able to collect and deliver materials for you, but this may incur a small handling fee which will be agreed beforehand. What methods of payment do you accept? We prefer cash or cheque paid promptly on completion of the works. However, we are able to accept by prior mutual agreement bankers drafts, bank transfers and PayPal. Do you provide a receipt? Yes. A written receipt will always be provided upon payment. Do you offer any guarantees? Yes, we offer a 12 month guarantee on all our work unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
